Seconded to a Nuclear National Research Institute.

Joined Maintech Co. Ltd in 1998, responsible for development of technology and overseas marketing.

President, Maintech Co. Ltd since 2010 


Graduate the Department of Nuclear Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Nagoya University.

Master's degree, Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tokyo (Graduate School).

What have been the main lessons you have learned in your career and how do you implement them in your management?

In my previous job, a client failed to adequately disclose information about a minor accident, leading to social distrust and suspension of the development project. At Maintech, we actively disclosed our in-house knowledge and analytical results when facing customer complaints or issues. As a result, we were able to gain the trust of our customers, and this subsequently contributed to the formation of a corporate culture that prioritizes technology development and solving customer challenges, as it allowed for the disclosure of more in-depth customer production issue data.

Goals as president

I have three goals:

The first goal is to spread environmentally friendly recycled paper manufacturing technology, known as DSP, which was born in Japan, to the world.

The second goal is to pass on the eco-friendly paper-making paper including know-how and expertise of the experienced operators to the next generation through Smart Papyrus.

The third goal is to contribute to the sustainable use of resources with our technology and to be a force in reducing conflicts over energy and resources. It is our responsibility as a company to pass on this legacy to the next generation.
