Where I work, in the tranportation section, I am a truck driver and everyone is equal. I would say that the coordination of our work is good and we have a great rapport. We all work the same hours. Everyone is paid the same and all the hours are paid as stipulated by the company; nobody can complain that they have been paid fewer hours.
Which of Somagec’s projects is the most important or gives you the most pride?
I am proud and grateful for all the effort being made here at Somagec for the future of Equatorial Guinea. We are setting good examples to our children as to how to be ‘contributors’ to the company and to our country. I am delighted with all of our projects because they are all for the development of our country. When a country is evolving thanks to its infrastructure, I think is much better than for it to be because of anything else. I rate all of Somagec’s developments highly. If I had to choose a favorite, I would pick the port of Malabo – it is phenomenal.
