The PM Communications team interviewed Isaac Kirk Koffi, Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority, and asked him about growing energy needs in Ghana, and about the prospects for gas and renewable energy. Mr. Koffi spoke about the importance of Ghana as an energy supplier for the region, the future developments in the gas and renewable energy sector, and British investment.

The PM Communications team interviewed Dr. Wilberforce Kisamba Mugerwa, Chairperson of the National Planning Authority, and asked him about the activities of the NPA, and its role in promoting Uganda as an investment destination at the Global Africa Investment Summit. Dr. Mugerwa spoke about the origins of the NPA, the activities it undertakes, sectors with investment and the Uganda Vision 2040.

The Sebalu & Lule partners spoke about the strong reputation and business expertise of the firm, their international affiliations and the key role that they are playing in guiding foreign investors and companies in the country.

Governor of the Bank of Uganda Dr. Emmanuel Tumusline Mutebile discusses the central bank’s role in maintaining macroeconomic stability and his efforts to enhance the performance of the banking sector in Uganda.

The Upper Reach team interviewed Mr. Issa Al Mannai, Chairman of Quantum Middle East, to discuss the business situation in Qatar and its rapid economic and infrastructural development. Mr. Al Mannai spoke of the increasing ease of doing business in the country, its impressive economic performance over the last decade, and the capacity of Quantum to identify problems and offer solutions to its clients.

The Angolan capital Luanda will host an economic forum to highlight investment opportunities in the up and coming province of Cuando Cubango in September, which will serve as a follow up event to the forum held in Cuando Cubango itself in late July.
