Sinaloa's and the North of the Mexico's Infrastructure Masterplan

Article - October 10, 2013
Mexico’s state of Sinaloa has far-reaching infrastructure plans to create a major nexus of commerce and trade routes
SINALOA, MEXICO
The state of Sinaloa will soon become northern Mexico’s logistic platform, enabling Mexico to develop to its full potential and become a global logistic center.

The Government’s ambitious infrastructure plan contemplates the upgrade of the Topolobampo port, the new Mazatlan port, the new Mazatlan-Durango Super Highway, improved railways and natural gas availability.

The Northern Economic Corridor, which represents 22.5% of Mexico’s GDP, 60% of the commercial flow with Northern America, 27% of the manufacture industry and 58% of the maquiladora industry, will be connected with the Asia-Pacific market through this Mexican state.
