Goals as president
He believes that, before we pursue material wealth in human life, we need to do more to enhance greater harmony and spiritual richness in the earth and the natural world. Now is the time to face the crises and problems of the earth and society, and to pursue the truly necessary needs, so that we can help solve society's problems, even if only in a small way.
With that in mind, the role of manufacturing companies is not only to produce things (monozukuri), but also to consider what happens after the products are made (kotozukuri), including how to make them last longer, how to make them easier to use, and how to collect/recycle them. Companies that can take these actions will be regarded as members of society in the future.
Starlite will mobilize the power of the group to solve as many problems as possible for the future of the planet by approaching today’s social issues with our technologies and ideas, and by co-creating with like-minded people through flexible mindset and connections.
