San Jacinto de El Morro, a church from 1737

In the Morro district is the 18th century San Jacinto de El Morro Church, one of the country’s most important Cultural Heritage sites, with the chapel declared so in 1980. The famous white church with its dark green stripes was recently restored by the local authority.
