The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao Special Administrative Region (CAA) is a governmental regulatory body on aviation matters, separate from Macao’s airport or air carriers.
Our safety and security regulations and guidelines are based on ICAO’s Standards and Recommended Practices. We ensure that safety and security are strictly maintained in this highly regulated industry.
Macao adopts liberal aviation policies which keep our air transport up to date in a constantly developing market. In fact, Macao adopts the most liberal criteria listed by ICAO.
