Labour20 officially launched its 2015 programme and priorities in Ankara on February 4th. Throughout Turkey’s G20 Presidency, L20 will be promoting an agenda based on sustainable and inclusive growth, with a focus on the creation of quality jobs, fighting income equality, catalyzing infrastructure investments and transitioning towards a low carbon economy. The L20 group represents the international trade union movement at G20 level. It is convened each year by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the Trade Union Advisory Committee (TUAC) to the OECD. Sharan Burrow and John Evans, General Secretaries of the ITUC and TUAC respectively, spoke to The Worldfolio at the launch to expand on their priorities for the year ahead.
