I joined Mitsui Petrochemical Industries, Inc. (currently Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.) in 1981 and have extensive business experiences in global markets through my positions as the General Manager of the Phenols Division of the Basic Chemicals Business Sector (of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.) and the Chief Representative in China of the same company. I am also well-versed in the chemicals industry especially in the area of fine chemicals.

Through my experience of managing several chemical companies as a president, I learned that the most important company resource should be human resource because technology, innovation, and company culture are subject to human resources. I make best efforts to educate and motivate employees.
