Born in Hyogo Prefecture, and raised in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, I worked at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. 1991 to 1997. I joined Kyoritsu Gokin Co. Ltd., whose founder is my grandfather in law Kakuzo Matsumoto, in 1997.

Experience
I began my career in the Intellectual Property Department of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. After that, I joined Everloy Shoji Co., Ltd., the sales company of Kyoritsu Gokin Co., Ltd. in 1997, and was in charge of general affairs, accounting and human resources for four years before relocating to Kyoritsu Gokin Co., Ltd. After transferring to Kyoritsu Gokin Co., Ltd., I was responsible for sales & marketing for two years, and research & development and manufacturing for five years. While managing these departments, I also enrolled in the Business School of Kobe University to learn business administration, especially human resources. I have been president in Kyoritsu Gokin Co., Ltd. since 2008 and Everloy Shoji Co., Ltd. since 2011.
