Sakata Seed Corporation was started by Takeo Sakata in Yokohama, Japan, in 1913.
Since its foundation 100 years ago, Sakata has followed the company motto “Quality, Reliability, Service” and has excelled in the development of beautiful flower varieties, tasty vegetables and disease resistance.
