Business Description
Nippon Seisen Co has always been a pioneer and leader in the stainless steel wire industry. It is not an exaggeration to state their history depicts the entire history of stainless steel wire in Japan. Their main businesses are:
History
June, 1951: Established Sanshin Tokushusen Kogyo Co., Ltd. as a manufacture of stainless steel wire in Osaka.
May, 1953: Obtained capital participation from Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd. and joined the Nippon Yakin Group
June, 1953: Established a new factory in Osaka
October, 1956: Changed the company name to Nippon Seisen Co., Ltd. ; Established a factory in Tokyo
March 1962: Listed on the Second Sections of both the Tokyo and the Osaka Stock Exchanges.
May, 1962: Established the Hirakata factory located in Hirakata City, Osaka and began operations.
March 1972: Moved the Tokyo facroy to the Hirakata factory and completed the integration of these two facilities.
April, 1976: Opened the Tokyo Branch
May, 1988: Established Thai Seisen Co., Ltd.
September, 1996: Stock listings were upgraded from the Second Sections on both the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchanges
November, 2003: Daido Steel Co., Ltd. becomes the largest stockholder of Nippon Seisem. As a result, Nippon Seisen joins the Daido Steel Group.
May, 2006: Established Naslon Fuji Filer Co., Ltd. (Changshu)
October, 2007: Absorbed daido Stainless Steel Co., Ltd.
September, 2008 : Established Naslon Korea Co., Ltd.
February, 2009: The whole company obtained ISO 9001 certification
