Daiichi Jitsugyo Viswill has been engaged in the design, manufacture, marketing and maintenance of automated visual inspection systems ever since our founding in 1971.
In particular, we are a pioneer in visual inspection systems for pharmaceutical tablets and capsules in the pharmaceutical industry , chip capacitors in the electronic components industry, continue to provide them to customers in Japan and around the world.
To the present day, based on this pioneering spirit, we have been striving to improve the appearance quality of products in various industries with our technology and passion, and to eliminate the inconvenience and anxiety of workers involved in visual inspections.

History:
1971: Development of a Tablet visual inspection system initiated at Kanebo, Ltd.'s Production Engineering Research Laboratory.
1979: Vision Systems Department (manufacture and sales of the Tablet visual inspection system) started.
1986–2001: Development of various types of visual inspection system (for Product History, click here).
2002: More than 500 visual inspection systems were sold worldwide.
2005: Launched as Kanebo Vision Systems Ltd. from one of the Kanebo Ltd. Became a wholly owned subsidiary of Daiichi Jitsugyo Co., Ltd. and launched as Daiichi Jitsugyo Viswill Co., Ltd.
2011: More than 1,000 visual inspection systems were sold worldwide.
2014: Recognized with the Nakai Prize by the Japan Society of Pharmaceutical Machinery and Engineering.
2015: 10th anniversary of the company's founding as Daiichi Jitsugyo Viswill.
2016: Formulated the new Corporate Philosophy. Moved to a new company building.

Technology / R&D activities:
The world's first 3D inspection technology emerges from NEDO-subsidized project.
The Tablet visual inspection system developed by Viswill was selected as a project for the practical application and development of industrial technologies, and subsidized by Japan's innovation accelerator, NEDO－NEW Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization.
We established a world-first inspection technology that uses a 3D camera, with the aim of equipping it on our visual inspection system (Tablet visual inspection system).
This kind of technology could only have been developed by a company such as ours, which specializes in visual inspection systems.
