Professional accomplishments

Mentors

I have many, many mentors. First and foremost, Mr. Mitsumasa Tanabe, a professor emeritus of Nagoya University. He guided me to become a jurist and gave me a depth of commercial law studies. Second, my friends and work seniors. They always point out to me how narrow my vision is. Lastly, my students. Their sincere desire to learn teaches me so much.

Goals as president

When I complete my term as president, my aim is to leave the university in a stronger position with a promising future. This includes not only advancing human resources but also broadening the university’s focus to encompass more science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related fields.
