A graduate engineer in civil mechanics of the Polytechnic Faculty at the University of Kinshasa, 1987-1988, I have spent a good part of my career at Gécamines as a maintenance engineer and also in charge of the management of the electrical supply, medium, average and high voltage, where I has to climb up the levels up become the Division Director.   

After being made redundant in 1998, I worked as an infrastructure and mining advisor in the Provincial Governor’s office. I later became the Administrator Technical Director of Gécamines from 2002 to 2008.

By this title I have been appointed as Administrator of National Company of Congo Railway «SNCC».

At the end of my term as Administrator Technical Director of Gécamines, I worked at the Board of Directors’ Representative Office at Gécamines.

I was appointed Provincial Minister for Infrastructure, Urban Planning, Transport and Energy in the Katanga Provincial Government in 2007; Minister for Infrastructure, Public Works and Reconstruction in 2010; Minister of Spatial Planning, Urban Development, Housing, Infrastructure, Public Works and Reconstruction in 2012; before exercising the functions entrusted to me as Minister for infrastructure and Public Works.

In this capacity, I have carried out several missions in the provinces in order to experience and monitor the progress and realities of the environment in which these projects were later developed.

I have a passion for reading, especially works dealing with issues related to the development of the least developed countries.
