Born in Fukui City, Yasumasa Emori is the second son of the second-generation president, Mikio Emori, and the grandson of the founder, Emori Kiyoki. From a young age, he has watched their management styles: his grandfather had employees boarding at his house, and his dad had early experiences with overseas business development. As such, he’s experienced the “large family principle”, Nicca’s raison d’être.
Ever since becoming the president of the company, for 15 years, he has continued to annually visit the eight overseas branches. He listens to the voices of not only the local managers, but also the local customers.
While inheriting the spirit of the predecessors, he has built his own management style represented by new business developments and innovation centers such as in CFRP.
