Products/Services

Service from the standpoint of customers

The services of our company are highly praised even by third parties. From 2010 to 2014 – for five consecutive years – we have received the top spot in the consumer electronics mass retailer (excluding internet sales) category of the “After-Sales Service Satisfaction Ranking,” which is based on a survey by Nikkei Business magazine.

Also, from 2011 to 2014 – for four straight years – we have been awarded second place in the consumer electronics mass retailer category of the Japanese Customer Satisfaction Index (JCSI) survey, which is released by the Service Productivity & Innovation for Growth (SPRING) council.

These ratings have been supported by the truly friendly service that is provided by each of our employees, and the following three aspects of our service.

Cash discounts

Although there are many companies in the consumer electronics mass retail business that have introduced point systems, our company has not adopted such a system, but rather focuses on cash discounts. Transactions in cash are the easiest to carry out, and customers can see right on the spot they have received a discount and that the price of their product has been reduced. Point systems restrict the stores that can be used and have expiration dates, etc., so they impose limitations on customers. We think that customers should have more freedom.

Long-term free repair guarantees

At our stores, customers who have purchased a designated product model above a certain price are automatically registered to receive a 3, 5, or 10 year long-term free repair guarantee, based on the addition of an independent warranty (compliant with the manufacturer’s warranty) to the one-year warranty of the manufacturer.

We provide this service because some customers would not register for a long-term warranty if it were not free, and when customers purchase products that are covered by this service, they do not need to be asked about registration for a long-term warranty.

If your product breaks immediately after the manufacturer’s warranty expires and you have to pay a large fee for repairs, you lose a lot of the joy associated with having purchased that product. We believe that if we can reduce the risk of this type of situation occurring as much as possible, customers will be able to purchase products at our stores with a sense of assurance.

Anshin Passport

We have created this service in the hope of reducing the burden on customers when they purchase products at our stores, and offering them more peace of mind.

Customers who have the Anshin Passport can receive products and accessories at discount prices, and carry out procedures for purchasing products that are eligible for a long-term free repair guarantee without having to write their address and so on.

On the off chance that a manufacturer has issued a recall, we promptly contact customers who have purchased the product in question based on their purchase history. Furthermore, we can also search for consumable supplies related to the consumer electronics products that our customers are using (such as ink for printers and cleaner paper packs, etc.) based on their purchase history, so we are able to find the model numbers of such consumable supplies at our stores with ease.

Going forward, we will continue to provide services that our customers can feel happy about.
