Nanofiber filtration expertise evolves into a high comfort textile platform for apparel and industrial applications

YAMASHIN FILTER CORP., a global specialist in filtration solutions, has announced the launch of TEXIFIL, a new functional apparel material developed from the company’s proprietary filter technology. The product is introduced to market as the first step in building an apparel focused business that leverages YAMASHIN’s nanofiber expertise beyond conventional filters.
TEXIFIL is named from the phrase TEXtured Inspire by FILter and is designed as a thin, flexible material that can be integrated into a wide range of garments and textile products. By drawing on the company’s nanofiber platform YAMASHIN Nano Filter, TEXIFIL aims to deliver both comfort and functional performance within a single textile solution.
According to the company, the launch of TEXIFIL marks the beginning of a broader expansion into new business domains. On 4 December 2025 YAMASHIN plans to present YAMASHIN FILTER VISION 2030, outlining the future rollout of TEXIFIL in apparel applications together with additional uses as an industrial material and the equity story behind these growth initiatives.

YAMASHIN FILTER has historically focused on hydraulic filters for construction machinery, air filters and healthcare related products. TEXIFIL positions the company to participate in new value chains such as sportswear, outdoor clothing and workwear where lightweight, functional materials are in high demand.
