From everyday value snacks to indulgent cake-like biscuits, GINBIS targets “two-speed” consumption with chocolate-rich seasonal treats.

GINBIS CO., LTD. has announced its Autumn/Winter 2025 new and limited-time products, rolling out nationwide. The season’s lineup is built around two parallel themes: value-focused products for everyday enjoyment and indulgent, premium-style treats for “little luxuries” at home.
Continuing the 2024 development theme, GINBIS is responding to the “polarization of consumption” in Japan, where consumers balance frugal habits with occasional willingness to spend more on special moments. The company is expanding both “price appeal” items and “value appeal” items, leveraging its established brands and proprietary technologies, including its signature “Shimi Choco®” chocolate-impregnation process
Among the seasonal highlights are new additions to long-selling brands such as Asparagus Biscuits and Tabekko Doubutsu. The autumn lineup introduces Mini Asparagus Chocolate in multiple pack formats, combining the toasted crunch of the classic biscuit with mellow, cacao-forward chocolate. The beloved Tabekko Doubutsu range is extended with chocolate biscuits and ramune candies in animal shapes, featuring seasonal flavors like Tsubutsubu Mikan (mandarin) and multi-pack formats designed for sharing or on-the-go snacking.
GINBIS is also expanding its Shimi Choco Corn series with strawberry and matcha latte variants. Using the Shimi Choco® process to soak chocolate deep into the corn puff, these items offer a distinctive “crispy yet melty” texture while remaining easy to handle without chocolate sticking to the hands – an advantage for year-round distribution and storage.
In the better-for-you snacking space, the “Edamame” non-fried snack brand adds “Karitto Rich Cheese” 4-pack and “Yaki Cheese” 38g. Both use GINBIS’ baking know-how instead of deep-frying, bringing a satisfying crunch and rich cheese flavor with a lighter profile, suited to family snacking and adult “snack-with-drinks” occasions.

Ginbis Cake Biscuits
For adult consumers seeking a more luxurious break, GINBIS is spotlighting GINZA RUSK Tokimeki Strawberry, a premium chocolate snack with strawberry-infused chocolate soaked into crunchy dough, and two “Cake Biscuit” flavors: Baked Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake. These “cake-like biscuits” combine a thicker, melt-in-the-mouth base with infused chocolate for a “crispy yet moist” new texture, designed as a one-bite reward during relaxation time
Rooted in its founding philosophy of “Bringing Dreams to Sweets!”, GINBIS continues to develop biscuits and snacks that pair technical baking expertise with playful shapes and textures, aiming to bring small moments of joy to consumers in Japan and worldwide
