Feliciano Antonio, the newly appointed chairman of Angola Telecom, and Ties Hartman of Detecon International, a leading international ICT consultancy firm, signed the restructuring contract of Angola Telecom in Luanda in May of this year.
In attendance at the signing ceremony, held in the offices of the Angolan Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, were various representatives, including Deputy Minister of Telecommunications Aristides Safeca and Angola Telecom director general Pedro Mendes de Carvalho.
Where Detecon will intervene in Angola Telecom’s restructuring is in raising the effectiveness of the sector’s development, including the quality of service, tariffs, revenue and investments, traffic, number of subscribers, organisation training and human resources.
