Background:
I founded Ability Systems in 2004. At that time, we had little capital, few people, and limited experience but we started with one firm belief: we can do it “Ability”.
In the early days, we began small, focusing on system integration (SI) and network infrastructure projects, and every day was a new challenge. We faced countless crises, including client bankruptcies and financial difficulties, yet we never gave up thanks to the dedicated employees who endured those difficult times together.
We have experienced failures along the way, but those failures have only made our direction clearer.
Now, 20 years later, Ability Systems is no longer just an IT company. In recent years, we have expanded our horizon into new industries at the forefront of autonomous driving and artificial intelligence (AI), integrating cutting-edge technologies to pioneer the future.
I will continue to embrace new paths without fear never ceasing my journey as an explorer sailing into uncharted seas in search of new continents.

Computer Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University.
Experience:
Oct 1996 – Aug 2000: Responsible for procurement operations at Seoul Mobile Telecom.
Sep 2000 – Aug 2003: In charge of network consulting at Korea Fujitsu.
Jul 2004 – Present: Chief Executive Officer, overseeing overall management at Ability Systems.
What have been the main lessons you have learned in your career and how do you implement them in your management?
Mistakes are proof that you are trying- Do not fear making mistakes; fear not learning from them.

I believe this phrase symbolizes the steadfast and detached attitude that a true leader should possess. It reminds me to stay centered and unwavering in any situation, and to be a leader who sets direction with conviction rather than being influenced by circumstances.
