[Pioneering a Niche Market: The Success of "Hip Care Soap"] One of our greatest success stories is the development of the "Hip Care Soap" (KoiSuru Oshiri). At the time of development, there was no existing market for soaps specifically designed for buttocks care. The project started from an insight of female developer, who recognized that many people struggle with rough skin on their buttocks due to prelonged desk work and friction from underwear. By combining a cute heart-shape design, a peach fragrance, and a clear functional benefit (exfoliation via scrub), the product gained viral popularity particularly on social media. It became a mega-hit with cumulative sales exceeding 10 million units*, successfully establishing "Parts Care" (body part-specific care) as a new category in the Japanese body care market.
