Technology / R&D activities:
We conduct user-centered research and development based on our experience with adhesives for plywood and laminated wood, such as improving productivity and optimizing adhesives in response to changes in the materials to be adhered.
We are also engaged in technology-oriented R&D such as for the application of existing technologies, the development of new material applications, and the effective use of biomass raw materials for SDGs purposes.
International Operations:
We export high-quality adhesives and related products from Oshika to Southeast Asia, mainly to China, Indonesia, and many other countries, contributing to product development and quality improvement of local companies.
Environmental protection issues will become more and more important in the world in the future, and the effective use of precious wood resources and environmentally friendly adhesive technologies will be required.

Awards:
We introduce some of the awards we recently received;
-Wooden storehouse at Oshika's Osaka Office completed in August 2022 received Wood Design Award in in Social Design Division, Architectural Space Field.
-The 67th Wood Technology Award for 2022 was given to Oshika for its series of efforts in the development of lignin phenol resin adhesive, their application to plywood, and their widespread use, for their "contribution to industrial technology related to wood technology and utilization in Japan”.
