*Worked in Sales and Production Management for six years, and as Executive Managing Director for eight years at NIPPON BYORA INDUSTRY, LTD.
*Worked as Manager, Administrative Department for one year, and now working as President of MIKASA CORPORATION for two years.
What have been the main lessons you have learned in your career and how do you implement them in your management?
The three lessons:
(1) “Take things more objectively.”
(2) “Have vision and foresight.”
(3) “Make a principled choice.”
My father-in-law, chairman, and my brother-in-law, president of NIPPON BYORA INDUSTRY, LTD., where I was given the opportunity to work together with them and learn my ABCs about running a business.
My favorite quote is, “fortune is unpredictable and changeable.” It means to me that quite often we run into situations where we cannot figure out what is good or what is bad, therefore we must value every minute of life and live as if it were our last hour on earth. It tells me to make principled choices and decisions. I would like to pursue what I believe in.
