My grandfather started his business in 1922. He went from the forestall industry to the tourism one, which he entered 60 year ago. He also established Iwasaki Foundation. I,myself am engaged in the management of family companies and the Foundation as third generation. Now I am the Chairman of Kagoshima Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCC&I). My grandfather used to be a Chairman of KCC&I for 18 years. My father has also been the chairman of KCC&I for 12 years.
Education
I studied Economics at Keio University in Tokyo.
I was awarded “Mansfield special Award” in 1997 by Ambassador of the United States of America.
“Honorary Doctorate from Central Queensland University” in 2014 in acknowledgement of the contribution to Queensland in Australia.
