President (Imperial Hotel,Ltd) and General Manager (Imperial Hotel, Tokyo)
Hideya Sadayasu is General Manager of the 125-year-old Imperial Hotel in Tokyo and President of Imperial Hotel, Ltd. He has over 30 years’ experience in the international hotel industry, having joined Imperial Hotel, Ltd. on his 1984 graduation from the Faculty of Economics at Tokyo’s Gakushuin University.
Mr Sadayasu received multi-operational training for many years in numerous departments in the hotel, and from 1991 to 1995 served as Director of Sales at Imperial Hotel, Ltd.’s sales offices in Los Angeles, California.
He was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the company in 2004, and in 2006 was named concurrent Director of Imperial Limousine Services, followed in 2008 by a promotion to the posts of Director of the Hotel Operations Management division and Deputy General Manager of the Tokyo flagship.
Mr Sadayasu also served as a concurrent Director at Imperial Kitchens until his appointment in April, 2009, as Executive Managing Officer and General Manager of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, where in June, 2009, he was made Executive Director, Imperial Hotel, Ltd., and concurrent General Manager of the Imperial in Tokyo.
In April, 2013, he was made President of Imperial Hotel, Ltd.
