Bio

Mechanical Engineering graduate Enrico Vita has been CEO of Amplifon SpA since October 22, 2015, and Executive Director since October 20, 2015, having joined the group in 2014, after holding various positions with Indesit.

Experience

Enrico Vita started his career in 1995 at the Indesit Company (at the time Merloni Elettrodomestici) in the industrial sector. He remained in the group for almost 20 years, holding positions with growing responsibility both in Italy and abroad. Among the most significant posts he held were Plant Manager of the Turkish plant, Research & Development Director of the Cooling Division, and then Group Supply Chain Officer.

In 2007 he was appointed as Managing Director for the UK & Ireland. Three years later, he returned to Italy, taking on top-level responsibilities, first as Chief Commercial Officer and later as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for commercial, marketing and consumer after-sales services.

In March 2014, he joined the Amplifon Group as Executive Vice President EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

In March 2015 he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility in the three regions where the company operates (EMEA, Amerca, and APAC), as well as for corporate functions of marketing, IT and supply chain.

In October 2015, he was appointed as CEO by the group’s Board of Directors.

Since April 2015 he has also been the Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Elica SpA.
