Background
TMEIC was established in 2003 through the integration of the industrial systems divisions of Toshiba Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, and TMA Electric Corporation (TMAE), which was established in 1999, and Toshiba GE Automation Systems Corporation (TGAJ), which was established in 2000.
