Our primary focus is on the construction and maintenance of power plants and substations, and we are also active in the construction of renewable energy facilities such as solar power generation plants.

Background

Tokyo Denki Komusho Co., Ltd., our original corporate name, was founded in 1947 during the turmoil following World War II with the aspiration to support electricity power for the post-war reconstruction of Japan. We have carried out construction and maintenance since then and have accomplished our duty as a construction company of sustaining the social infrastructure along with Japan’s growth and development. We have also developed new business by adapting the corporate philosophy of "To build a more certain foundation of life".

Organization Goals & Objectives

“Q’d” is our company logo well known among our clients and society. The acronym “Q’d”, which stands for “Quality Oriented”, embodies our promise to always pursue the best solutions. Q’d also means that we will continuously work to provide optimum business results for our clients and society. Proceeding towards new solutions based on the technologies we have gained in our electric power facilities over numerous years epitomizes our “Q’d spirit”.

 

While we primarily construct and maintain the electricity generation plants substations, and other power-related equipment that are essential to social infrastructure, we also provide equipment for and assist in the construction of solar power generation stations and work to promote other forms of renewable energy.

 

Based on the know-how that we have accumulated over numerous years, we have engaged in the construction of much of the electrical equipment used in building and factories, as well as telecommunication equipment, and provide a service that dispatches engineers. Then we are facilitating global business expansion.

Highlights

August, 1947     Tokyo Denki Komusho Co.,Ltd established at Niibori-cho, Minato-ku, Tokyo with capital of 180 thousand yen.

July, 1960       Head office moved to a new building at Higashi-Azabu Minato-ku, Tokyo.

November, 1961 Stocks listed in the second section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.

August, 1980    Head office moved to a new building at Sinbashi Minato-ku, Tokyo.

October, 1981  Stocks listed in the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.

March, 1994            Capital increased to 2,881 million yen.

April, 2001               Company name changed to Tokyo Energy & Systems Inc.

August, 2013           Head office moved to a new building at the present address.

June, 2016               Two joint venture companies established in Thailand

 

Other Notes

In order to respond to our customers’ needs, we established two joint venture companies with the local enterprises in Thailand last year. This establishment enables us to provide our products for our customers planning to construct thermal power plants in South-East Asia.
