Background

Established on 1993, under Company’s Act, Brunei (Cap 39), under the name Takaful TAIB Sdn Bhd.  A subsidiary of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB).  Started with Authorised Capital of B$10M and Paid up Capital of B$5M. In June 1997, changed its name to Insurans Islam TAIB Sdn Bhd.  In 1998, increased its Authorised Capital to B$20M and Paid up Capital of B$10M.

In 2010, established 2 subsidiaries namely Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful Sdn Bhd & Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful Sdn Bhd.

Management

Right on top of our company structure will be our Board of Directors.  Our companies are headed by Managing Director who is assisted by the Assistant General Manager who eventually have a number of Department Heads reporting.

On top of that, we have various committees assisting the business and just to name a few the Management Committee, Syariah Advisory Committee, Audit Committee, Investment Committee, Product & Business Development Committee  etc.
