Fiber to the x (FTTX) – Fujikura offers the fastest, most flexible deployment solutions.
Thin, lightweight, high-density and high-capacity optical fiber cables that reduce installation cost drastically – SWR (Spider Web Ribbon) and WTC (Wrapping Tube Cable).
High-performance fibers with low losses including transmitting, bending and connecting, as well as cable characteristics compared with conventional optical fibers.
In industry, our fiber lasers have strength in output stability, high reliability and environment resistance, and they can cut, weld, mark, create a hole etc., and do well in the various industrial fields including automotive, medical and semiconductors.
New products using Fujikura technology do well in medical fields. We support the evolving medical world with blood vessel endoscopes, our CMOS image sensor module with 160,000 picture elements; WABE (wafer and board level embedded technology), etc., that are best suited for ultra small medical devices.
Growth in Global Market
We have been promoting overseas expansion, and our overseas sales ratio in FY2015 reached 60%. We will continue to go forward in the future.

With the aim of becoming "human-friendly and eco-friendly company", we will promote the expansion of green, environmentally conscious products.
We created a biotope on our old factory site as an action for bio-diversity, and introduced only indigenous species, excluding non-native ones. By creating a bio-habitat environment, we are promoting activity to protect species in danger of extinction through community action.
