Sounding board for major events in the country and main speaker of the productive sector, Fiesp defends the private enterprise and market economy.
Interpreter of the productive sector, Fiesp is the voice that speaks for 131 industry associations, which represent approximately 150 thousand companies of all sizes and from different production chains. It is the largest professional association of Brazilian industry.
The current structure reflects the strategic thinking Fiesp and treated as homogenous entity that gives the various productive chains and the unions, regardless of company size or industry to which they belong.
Fiesp has nine Councils of Theme, coordinated by the Instituto Roberto Simonsen (IRS), which sets out guidelines for the work of the departments of Economic Research and Studies, International Relations and Foreign Trade, Infrastructure, Environment, Competitiveness and Technology, and Department of micro, Small and Medium Industry. Throughout the State of São Paulo, Fiesp is represented by 51 regional offices.
To ensure harmonious growth of the different production chains, were also established Committees for the sectors of Food and Agribusiness, Construction, Mining, Leather and Footwear, Textiles and Clothing and the Defense Industry. There is still the Committees of Young Entrepreneurs, Cultural Action and Social Responsibility.
