The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) of Gabon is a private organization responsible for the management of a public service.
The social security system managed by the NSSF includes:
• a branch of the family benefits and maternity benefits,
• a branch of occupational hazards, accidents and occupational diseases,
• a branch of old age pensions, disability and death,
• a branch of health benefits for the benefit of employees who have been medically evacuated abroad

The resources of the CNSS are mainly:
• investment products
• donations and legacies
