Tanzania is the third largest gold producer in Africa, and has got large diamonds and gemstones deposits, as well as iron, coal, uranium, nickel and copper reserves. Currently mining represents 2.3% on the country’s GDP, and the government expects to raise it over the 10% in the next 14 years.
